Testing & grading

RFQ-based verification for enterprise storage media supply

Easy2Supply aligns model verification, condition grading, available health checks and packing confirmation with the buyer's RFQ. The goal is to make the quoted condition, test scope and shipment evidence clear before the order moves forward.

Process overview

From model confirmation to packing evidence

For enterprise SSDs, HDDs, memory modules and server components, a reliable supply process starts with exact product identification. Testing and grading then focus on the factors that affect compatibility, usability, warranty handling and safe international shipping.

Model accuracy

Condition clarity

Shipment readiness

01

Model & Label Verification

Part number, capacity, interface, form factor, label information and requested compatibility details are checked against the RFQ scope.

02

Condition Grading

New, tested, refurbished or project-specific condition language is confirmed before quotation acceptance and shipment preparation.

03

Capacity & Interface Check

Recognized capacity, media type, interface and basic detection status are reviewed where applicable to the product category.

04

Health & Functional Review

Drive health data, SMART indicators, power-on information and visible error status can be reviewed according to buyer requirements.

05

Packing Confirmation

Anti-static protection, individual separation, cushioning, carton strength, labeling and count confirmation are aligned before dispatch.

Product-specific checks

Inspection points vary by media category

A single generic checklist is not enough for enterprise storage supply. SSDs, HDDs, memory and server parts each require different confirmation points, especially when the order involves mixed batches, replacement parts or resale supply.

Enterprise SSD

  • Model and capacity confirmation
  • U.2 / U.3 / SATA / SAS interface check
  • SMART / health data review
  • Power-on and usage indicators where available

Enterprise HDD

  • Exact model and sector format review
  • SATA / SAS interface confirmation
  • Capacity recognition and basic functional check
  • SMART, power-on hours and error indicator screening

Memory Modules

  • DDR generation, capacity and speed review
  • ECC / RDIMM / LRDIMM type confirmation
  • Label and part number matching
  • Visual condition and batch consistency check

Server Components

  • Controller, HBA, caddy or part number verification
  • Port, slot and platform compatibility review
  • Accessory and bracket confirmation
  • Visual inspection and packing protection

Condition grading

Grading language must be commercial and specific

Condition terms should be easy to understand and suitable for purchase approval. Easy2Supply avoids vague grading language by documenting the quoted condition, acceptable alternatives and requested evidence before shipment.

New

Quoted as new supply with model, packaging status and warranty terms stated in the offer.

Tested Pull

Previously installed or handled product that passes the agreed inspection and functional review scope.

Refurbished

Product supplied under a stated refurbishment condition with the applicable test evidence defined before order confirmation.

Mixed Batch

A batch with more than one acceptable condition, firmware or cosmetic level, separated and documented in the quotation.

Inspection evidence

Evidence should match the buyer's acceptance criteria

For larger RFQs, buyers may request serial lists, condition photos, SMART screenshots or packing confirmation. These items should be requested before payment and order preparation so the shipment can be arranged without last-minute ambiguity.

Product model and capacity list

Serial list when required by order scope

SMART or health screenshots where applicable

Label, connector and condition photos

Packing photos before shipment

Carton count and shipping mark confirmation

RFQ preparation

Define the inspection scope before quotation approval

The most efficient orders specify what must be checked, what alternatives are acceptable and what evidence is required. This helps prevent disputes around model substitutions, condition expectations, warranty terms and packing details.

Send testing requirements

Required model

Exact model, interface, capacity, firmware or acceptable alternatives.

Condition threshold

New, tested, refurbished, cosmetic limits, power-on limits or batch requirements.

Evidence format

Photos, serial list, SMART screenshots, packing photos or written confirmation.

Warranty handling

Warranty period, claim process, replacement terms and shipping responsibility.
